Stout Neni uplne muj nejoblíbenější styl a nemam ho moc napitý, tudíž hodnocení berte s rezervou. Vzhled: temne černá barva,po naliti prakticky bez pěny,nasycení minimalni. Vůně:kakaova, do sladka, s jemnými tóny whiskey. Chut: Prvni napiti je pecka, pivo se da defakto kousat:-)Je cítit výrazná praženost a sila piva. Dalsi doušky převládá praženost a kavovost. Dozvuk v ústech velice příjemný. Celkove velmi dobre silné pivo(ačkoliv alkohol neni v chuti tolik cítit)s převládající chuti prazenych sladu(kakaa?). Tretinka jako dezert po nedělním obědě idealni ;-)

First time evaluating a beer, so don't take too serious.

Appearance - Black color with a light brown foam which disappeared pretty quickly. Beer maybe slightly undercarbonated.

Aroma - Great coffee aroma, with a faint of alcohol (brandy /  whisky?) when swirled the glass. Slight herbal / spicy aroma from the hops.

Flavour and Mouthfeel - The coffee  / roasted taste is predominant. Some hints of chocolate / caramel. Strong body and great mouthfeel, but a little bit harsh on the throat probably due the amount of alcohol.
The bitterness appears to be a little low to the beer body. Can find hints of herbs and earthy from the hops but the coffee / roasted throws it to the second plan.
An hint of the whisky chips on the aftertaste.

Overall - A GREAT beer, nicely drinkable despite being 23 Plato! To whom likes the style i can highly recommended and would happily buy this beer if available in a shop.

Recommendation - Maybe 23 Plato is too much. 10% alcohol makes it dangerous to drink and hides some of the Columbus hops greatness. I would try to reduce 2/3 Plato next time.
