Original Gravity

This tool calculates original gravity and color of beer from chosen grain bill. Calculations are based on information from BeerSmith blog and BrewWiki.
Note: it is possible to add new malts into existing shared malt database.

Notes:
  • Tool is available only for registered users.
  • Choose units
  • Enter Batch Size (wort volume in fermenter).
  • Enter your mash efficiency (in percents).
  • Choose malts and enter corresponding weights.
  • Click on Calculate button to see estimated original gravity and color of beer.
